Writer, Cook, Quilter, Gardener and Artist. Being of a certain age, I am no longer employed, in other words, retired! I was born into dairy farm life in SE Colorado and have been involved with farming all my adult life in Montana. My midlife crisis was to become a “city girl”, working in an office for over 18 years, which also gave me more freedom to travel – world travel, specifically. In 2018, in the same calendar year, I flew both east and west, on two different trips, which circumnavigated the whole Earth! Traveling in the continental USA, Hawaii, Alaska, Australia, New Zeland, Mexico and all over SE Asia has opened up the world to me and given me a deep appreciation for other cultures, especially their food.
